At Weller UMC, we gladly support the efforts of the Thurmont Food Bank!
The Thurmont Food Bank is a non-profit ministry of the Thurmont Ministerium. It is supported by area churches, organizations, businesses and individuals. Food is provided to our neighbors in need who live in Thurmont and surrounding areas. Those requesting food are asked to bring identification, such as a driver’s license or a picture ID, plus a piece of mail showing your place of residence.
Cash or check contributions are appreciated. Please mark it “Food Bank” and place it in the offering plate. Non-perishable food items can be placed in the Food Bank donation box in the hallway.

Hours: Tuesdays: 5:00-7:00 p.m. and Fridays: 4:00-6:00 p.m.
